It's about people with disabilities - humans - who lived in the Belchertown State School, once called a school for the "feeble-minded." The school opened in Belchertown, Massachusetts in 1922, but not long afterwards, the focus of the institution changed. |

Some of the residents experienced neglect. Some found advocates in the workers, and some only found advocates after leaving the school campus. This film will focus on the residents' experiences in the school, why they lived there in the first place, and what they want the audience to know about how ablism impacts how we treat each other.
